Citizen Science at Summer Reading Program

Yes, we brag about it all the time but Busy-Birding is proud an privileged to be a part of the wonderful Medina community. To nurture our kids' love for nature and Citizen Science, we brought our caterpillar friends the Medina Community Library Summer Reading Program.

Other participants were many familiar faces from Bandera Frontier Museum, Bandera Natural History Museum, Hill Country State Natural Area, Medina Garden Club, Local Girl Scouts and Bandera Electric Cooperative. I too felt like a little kid trying on the heavy gloves and arm guards the linemen must wear while working with electricity!

Fortunate to be part of such a great COMMUNITY and LIBRARY.
