We are not only skilled birders but educators. In supporting our mission to Nurture Your Love for Nature, we offer fun and informative nature talks. Designed to inform and keep our talks user-friendly. Occasionally we do use big words, but we say them slowly and explain them so you can impress your friends and family later by proudly boasting your LEP-ID-OPTER-IST (butterfly enthusiast) status and the likes.
Active in our local community, we regularly deliver many free public talks - coloring pages always included for kids of all ages. Regular venues include the Medina Community Library, Riverside Nature Center in Kerrville, Bandera's Natural History Museum and Frontier Times Museums.
Contact us today to arrange a talk at your classroom, home school group, scout troop and other groups. Custom group tours also available for all ages.
COMMUNITY TALKS & EVENTS
Click on the below links to see a detailed topics and age group. Talks usually are an hour including time for questions. And, since we love the outdoors, many can be accompanied with time outdoors to look for birds, butterflies and the likes. We are also eager to get you started with mobile apps like iNaturalist, SEEK, Merlin and eBird. We look forward to seeing you soon!
