We LOVE Riverside Nature Center's efforts to get kids into nature.....

...and they are a cool place for adults too!

Calling all junior naturalists!! Become a Riverside Ranger and join us for a monthly session of nature exploration and discovery. This program is designed for youth 9-12 years of age. Join us on the 4th Saturday of the month.

Areas of exploration for the first half of this year are:

• February - Meteorology and weather predictions

• March - Ethnobotany (the cultural uses of plants)

• April - Ornithology & Bird Observation

• May - Hydrology & Water Invertebrates

• June - Ichthyology (the study of fish)
