Join us at the Bird Blind on Trailhead 3 for a relaxing and educational Bird Walk & Talk
Kerrville’s wonderful 6-mile River Trail is hard to miss. It’s so awesome even Yellow-crowned Night Herons return every year to set up their rookery. Yes, their trees on Tranquility Island fortunately survived last July’s flood.
But … did you know the 517-acre Kerrville-Schreiner Park has 14 miles of hiking trails and a new bird blind ?!! Meet us at 8 am at the NEW bird blind at Trailhead 3 at for a walk and talk about birds, binoculars and other basics. We’ll see who’s at the blind and then stroll the trail! Nature lovers of all levels are welcome!
The park and nature walk is FREE a part of Community Park Day with support from Kerrville Bird City and yours truly, Busy-Birding.
