To begin planning your tour -

Book them as shown or use them as a place to start creating you dream tour. We regularly bird in a 100-mile circle from Bandera County roughly bordered by Uvalde, Junction and San Antonio and will create a tour that fits you.

Why limit the fun to one day?

Bird back-to-back days in diverse but adjacent habitats such as Uvalde (desert) and Lost Maples (Hill Country) . Create your own BIG WEEKEND and see how many species you see if you can beat our own 96 species in 2 days.

Uvalde has TWO premiere sites but hitting each at sunrise is a 2-day affair.

Start at the Uvalde Fish Hatchery one weekday morning and Cook's Slough the following day. Don't worry, there's plenty to keep you busy in the afternoons as well!

Whatever you decide, just pick and choose from our half-day, full-day or otherwise custom tours and locations, Lodging Packages or Boot Camps.

To be sure you see what we are seeing, we have quality binoculars for use during our guided interpretative tours and beginning birding classes. We are happy to show you how to calibrate them for your eyes, use them to see birds, clean 'em and more. Travelers, this leaves more room in your luggage for souvenirs. And yes, we are BIRD NERDS!
